Trademark Registration in India
Trademark Registration in India has been a very complicated process, and every country has its own procedure to get the registration done but it is not as complicated as one would have thought. Trademark Registration in India has been a topic which the entire world has been discussing. However, no-one has yet managed to register a trademark in India. Earlier it used to happen that if you were planning to get your trademark registered in India, you had to appoint a trademark attorney who would work hard for the same and also register the trademark for you. Today, all that has to be done is just to go online and fill in a simple questionnaire, and then the process of registration starts.

After an opposition is received the next step is for the applicant to present his/her side in support of their claims made on the trademark application and provide proof in support of their statements. If no opposition is received after an appeal is received then the registration applications will be proceeded for signature on by the applicant. If no opposition is received after this then the trademark registration applications will be forwarded for signature on behalf of the applicant. The applicant can sign the documents provided by the registrar of trademarks electronically and send a fax to the registrar of trademarks electronically. It is important that before the date of signature of the agreement between the registrar of trademarks and the applicant, the trademark applicant should send a stamped acknowledgment of receipt along with the stamped signature of the applicant. All these procedures are necessary for ensuring that the procedures for filing trademark applications are followed correctly.

There is another way by which the registration of a trademark in India can be done and this involves the submission of a completed registration form to the registrar of trademarks of India. Before you sign the registration form, you should ensure that all the requisite conditions of registration have been fulfilled. This includes the submission of the complete fee as demanded by the registrar of trademarks. Once this has been submitted, the name of the applicant will be added to the national register of the trademark. After this, the registration will be printed and sent to the registrar of trademarks, who will inform the concerned authority about the details of the registration.
