Every business needs to meet statutory compliances as per the Companies Act, 2013 which include filing of different forms & returns. The eform AOC-4 must be digitally signed and certified by the CFO or Director of the Company. In case of any discrepancies, the ROC will issue a notice and demand for the corrections. If the requisite corrections are not made, the directors can be held liable to pay a fine of Rs 1 Lakh plus Rs 100 for each day of continuing default.
